it was my first full christmas my shop was open and it was amazing how many orders i received.
i had many return customers who i'd like to thank so much for your continued support!
my grand baby turned 1 in december...one of the reasons i was closed last year during christmas...he lives across the country so i don't see him often.
it was also the one year anniversary of my father's passing....the other reason i was closed last season.
i miss them both....

photography
i'm a photo-holic. as long as i can remember i have loved taking pictures. i believe i inherited it from my dad. i'm not very good at it, but hope to be one day. i bought myself a new camera and vowed to take a picture a day. i don't have photoshop or any fancy software to edit...someday i hope to learn that too. ;) right now i'm trying to learn how all of the settings work, lighting, and nailing the focus.
this one is of my youngest daughter watching a video on the laptop of her new baby nephew.

my mom is finished with chemo & radiation with no sign of cancer.
my daughter has recovered nicely from her scoliosis surgery.
in less than two weeks my children go back to school.
two are juniors in high school, turning 16 this week! yikes!
one is starting kindergarten, she's 5 going on 20.
oh, did i mention i am going to be a grandma in december!
my oldest is having her first child.
life is full of surprises.
